This project consists of the creation of a new access entrance from the Cappagh Road roundabout into the backside of the Roadstone Huntstown Quarry for future commercial development. The our works to this project consisted of carrying out all the site clearances, earthworks to form the new entrance, full road build up, including all drainage, services, new slipform kerbing, fencing, paving, landsaping etc. Along with this, as a result of the new entrance the existing roadabout on the Cappagh road need re-shaping including changing footpaths, widening the roundabout and its road network, all of which would then need to be tied into the new entrance being created. Throughout the project we worked alongside the different service providers that owned the servicing being diverted or connected into i.e ESB, eircom, virgin media, Gas main, watermains, and council street lighting.
