The Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route also known as the AWPR. This new road is 58km long, split into Four Sections. Balmedie to Tipperty: 12km from Blackdog to Tipperty, Section 2: 16.1km Northern Leg, Section 3: 18.7km Southern Leg & Section 4: 11.5km Fastlink. In this project we have undertaken drainage works, installing upwards of 31 thousand metres of drainage pipe work, ranging from 150dia up to 900dia filter and carrier drain, both terram and LDPE linings to the trenches as well as installing over 450 manholes and catch pits.
Having built and installed Attenuation Storage Tanks, ACS also carried out significant amounts of the SSE Tracking works, comms ducting and V-ditches for both pre-construction and final construction drainage, finishing and installing culvert crossings and SUDs Ponds.
We were also involved in the construction of the side roads, works included carrying out the bulk earthworks, boxcut, road built up, finish kerbing, drainage to the side roads and linking into the mainlines, and finish landscaping and tidying.
