This project was the construction of a New Wind farm in New Cumlock, Ayrshire, Scotland.

On this project, ACS carried road construction for accessing into the wind turbine bases, this required stripping back the topsoil/peat, excavating out of the subsoil and rock breaking down to level, bring back in crushed material to place as a road base. We also carried out pre-construction V-ditches and the road side ditches to the access tracks. For the turbine bases, a lot like the roads we stripped back the peat and subsoil, and broke out the rock down to level, placed in the base layer stone and graded, set the mud mat and ducts to the base. Once the base was poured we backfilled it and tidying up the surrounding area.
