This Project located on the Ballymacarratt Road, part of the area linked to the Titanic quarter. This project was the provision of an Environmental Improvement Public Realm Scheme consisting of new landscaping works including removal of existing planting; new tree and shrub planting; feature paving; off street parking; dwarf wall kerbs, fencing & safety railings; directional signage; LED lighting upgrade to underpass and street lighting improvements.
The environmental improvement works are proposed within the vicinity of the Titanic Railway Halt and includes the verge/embankment between Ballymacarrett Road and the A2 slip road, the pedestrian underpass, scrubland between the A2 slip road and railway station platform and a triangle of space at the corner of Fraser Pass. The site comprises a combination of public carriageway, footpaths and landscaping.
